A most excellent ride! It can scare little children so be prepared for big cuddles and kisses afterwards. It starts with a walk through some dimly lit caves where some very dodgy pirates can jump out at you at any time. The ride itself is aboard a boat going through an old fishing village where pirates do hide, or not as the case usually is. there is lots of drunken merriment (the characters look drunk too!) It is very clever the way Disney have got the people in the ride moving and fighting and singing and stuff. It is quite likely that you may get just a little wet on this ride too. There is a steep drop just before you approach the Blue Lagoon restaurant. We did not try this eating place as it looked quite expensive. I would imagine that it is quite an experience sitting down to a meal having a ride go past you every couple of minutes.
