I have stayed here only during November and it was wonderful each time. We ate mainly in 'Cape Cod' one of the two restaurants in the hotel and the food was excellent. The price for a main course ranged from FF85 to FF 170 but was well worth the cost. Two of us had a starter, main course and a coffee and soft drinks and the bill came to FF270. It is about 15 minutes walk from the gates to Disneyland and you will walk through the Disney Village to get there. It is lovely to sit in the bar and be served a hot chocolate from a well dressed waiter on a cold November evening after a long days walking around the park. For those more used to a beachside hotel you may find this a little up market so try to dress up a little to really feel at home. Even so, there are a great many people walking around in jeans and an old sweater just looking casual so don't over do it with a full dinner suit! The staff in the boutique are very friendly and helpful too and don't be afraid to ask for something you cannot see, they will try to track it down for you if they can. In 2000 we were upgraded to the Admiral's Floor which was quite a surprise for us! The view was even better up on the 8th floor, we could see most of the main attractions in the park along with a view of the Disney Village and the construction of the Disney Studios. Along with this upgrade we got to have breakfast each day in the Captain's Quarters. Talk about spoilt! Very cute waiters, one of them kindly left his flies open so that we could have one of those embarrassing conversations one just loves to have! It was lovely and quiet and everything except the food was brought to our table, as much tea and coffee as we could drink, quite a luxury. We were also invited for cocktails on one of the evenings though we twigged rather late that we didn't have to pay anything, we should have drunk a lot more!!!! The swimming pool is lovely and warm and there is a great Jacuzzi to wallow in too. There are signs up saying no inflatables but the hotel actually provides beach balls, footballs and long rubber things to play with anyway. It was full of adults when I was there but I don't think anyone acted more than 5! Over the year of 2000 the pool had been closed quite a lot for renovation and I understand for some of the early period of 2001 it was again closed. Do check before you book if it will be open during your stay. For those not paying extra or getting free upgrades, Breakfast is an informal affair, buffet style where you can just help yourself to as much as you want of all the normal stuff and also, for an extra charge, a cooked breakfast can be arranged. ©Designed
