This is part of the 1999 Halloween celebrations. The giant pumpkin was the stage where a live group performed late at night, very good entertainment

The entertainment in Main Street is mainly the parades, there are also street singers and a band, you can see an example of the band over on the main Main Street page. At Christmas there is the lighting of the tree ceremony which is really nice, certainly the first time it is seen. For me the central theme of Main Street is the shopping, it is no accident that the opening ceremony every morning restricts guests to Main Street for a good 30 minutes before the park opens
