At the start of the Park, again on the right, is the rental booth for strollers (baby buggies) and wheelchairs. The cost as of 1999 is 30ff. I presume there is a deposit too but I don't have a price for that.

For Season Ticket Holders

There should be a 10% discount for purchases of 4 or more tickets, also, if you recommend a friend to buy tickets, Disney may well grant an extra month on the season ticket you hold.

Thanks to Martin Siaz for this information

Pin Trading

A popular pastime started in the States a few years back

It can be just buying and collecting the pins from stalls and stores but the fun part is the swapping.

As long as they are polite about it, anyone wearing one of the special pin belts can approach anyone else to do a swap which includes all cast members some of whom can carry quite rare badges with them

baby_care_centre.jpg (144440 bytes)

At the baby care centre there are facilities for changing, feeding and things related to babies including a bottle warming service

For those visiting with small children I advise taking advantage of a seldom mentioned Disney facility:

The attractions at Disneyland Paris operate the "Baby-Swap"
whereby parents only queue once for each attraction. You just have to
mention at the start of the waiting line that you are two parents,
with a baby and you want to do the "Baby-Swap."

The cast member will then explain the procedure to you.

This is a great facility that enables those with kids too small for the bigger rides (Space Mountain, Indiana Jones & Big Thunder Mountain) to only queue the once. The first partner rides whilst the second waits by the tracks for them to return then they go and only one bit of queuing!

Do expect to see some of these signs scattered around, there is generally some sort of refurbishment going on at any one time, I don't think I have ever been there when there hasn't been

At the entrance to the park, shortly after you go in, you will find banks of lockers where you can deposit anything for 10ff. Unfortunately you can do this only once unless you want to pay another 10ff as the money is non refundable.

Might now be out of use because of security scares

lost_and_found.jpg (51079 bytes)

There is a lost and found on the right by the entrance too where you will hopefully be reunited with that very expensive video camera you just left in Star Tours - What is left of it that is!

1st_aid.jpg (42308 bytes)

If you happen to sustain an injury or are feeling unwell, make your way towards Main Street, on your left while still in Central Plaza, you will find the First Aid Office, there are more toilets here and no doubt a telephone!

1st_aid_directions.jpg (62514 bytes)

Still in Central Plaza

This is the main information board - here you can find out what shows are on and how long the queues are, the downside of this is that it is only updated every 60 minutes so is normally way out of date regarding the waiting times

central_plaza_info_board.jpg (116676 bytes)

There are telephones situated all around Disney, for some reason they are mainly in the toilets - perhaps some nice French person can explain that?

As if to prove the point, Disney even have all the signs with telephones on them!

This has been added to help any disabled traveler to Disney. They handle most disabled persons needs quite well until it comes to parking at the park. This is available in the Disneyland Hotel car park and you pay the normal parking fee. When you get to the payment booth it will be a good idea to ask for the code for the disabled drivers parking.

In French this will be: La boîte j'ai le code à entrer le Disneyland voiture d'hôtel stationne s'il vous plaît comme je suis handicapé.

You could try showing your disabled drivers badge if you have trouble with the language
